![]() 2019 Jeep Cherokee Power & HandlingJeep keeps finding ways to make their vehicles feel fresh and exciting, and in 2019, the Cherokee is being offered with a new engine option! The standard engine that always impresses is the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder. This engine can produce around 171 lb-ft of torque and 180 hp. Front-wheel or all-wheel drive is available, depending on your preference. Another engine you can choose from is a 3.2-liter V6, which can kick out up to 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque. The last engine is the brand new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4. This option allows you to get up to 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission for every engine is a nine-speed automatic, which shifts smoothly. | ![]() 2019 Toyota RAV4 Power & HandlingThere is only one engine available with the 2019 Toyota RAV4. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter inline-4. This engine can pump out around 184 pound-feet of torque, and up to 204 horsepower. Connected to this engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission. As far as the drivetrain is concerned, you can get either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Although the power isn't that bad, the lack of a true engine lineup is disappointing. For anyone that does want more power, the options simply are not there. |
